What a wonderful year.

I received this letter in the mail the other day, signed by the portfolio class I taught during the fall semester at EMU in 2009. I was TRULY moved that such a letter would arrive in my mailbox. When I look back at the year and what my expectations were, I am amazed by how much I grew. As a young educator I feel I am really coming into my own, but each new experience provides more opportunities for growth. I can only hope to have many more years in the future like this past year. I am happy to know I can make a difference in the lives of other artists.
